The broadcast begins with the three remaining contestants lined up against the back wall. Once again, two rounds the warm-up round and the elimination round are announced by the host. The first round is a game of charades in which contestants must mime the title of a novel that was written about the future for players, who have 90 seconds to come up with the correct response. Players successfully come up with all three of the answers: The Handmaid’s Tale for contestant 7, New York 2140 for contestant 11, and Ready Player One for contestant 7.

Before the second round can begin, the contestants take control of the microphone each to deliver a personal monologue with additional history and background, and to plead with viewers to help. TERI attempts repeatedly to chastise them and to restore order, to no avail, declaring the interruption to be an error.

Round 2 proceeds similarly to the previous two elimination rounds: viewers select one question to ask the finalists, and the contestants have 60 seconds to respond. They choose “Question 1: If you had 60 seconds to speak to 2019, what would you say directly to your past?” Contestant 11 delivers an intriguing speech in which they appear to address their own past self. At the end of the round, viewers challenge the parameters of the game: they refuse to vote. TERI appears to break down in light of this abstention, inviting all three contestants to come forth for the consolation prize. The game show appears broken.
